GIALLO WEEK: 18 Blood-Red Posters for the Devil's Cat

There's nothing in the world like a Giallo movie poster.

Think about, for a moment, how absolutely free Italian movie studios were to create a Giallo movie poster. When you consider the content in the films back then...how could you not make an attempt at a completely off-the-wall image inspiring terror and sexy suspense. Just like everything else in a Giallo film...it was about unrestrained style and excess. The poster of a Giallo film had to, not only capture the viewer's eye, but also needed to portray an inspired sense of sexy fright...Italian-style. So, please enjoy and look back at some of the most iconic Giallo posters of all-time. Bear in mind...some of the following are modern reproductions of the classic images and some are the original.
