THE DEVIANT DOUBLE FEATURE

Aaaaannnnd......................................we're back!

Welcome to another dose of...THE DEVIANT DOUBLE FEATURE

In today's edition we have two of my favorite films from one of the absolute best decades that horror/sci-fi cinema has ever seen. Year after year the 80's provided some bonafide classics of the genre giving us Deviants some films that have remained tried and true staples of our viewing rituals throughout the years. In 1987 I watched Jack Sholder's best work and in 1988 my favorite Frank Henenlotter film was released. Both films provide great layers of commentary that can be interpreted in many interesting ways. If one were so inclined to find a mutual theme for both films...you might say that they are "buddy movies" from a golden era of imaginative innovation.

So, sit back...call out of work "sick"...grab yourself a bucket of greasy buttered popcorn...and enjoy THE DEVIANT DOUBLE FEATURE!

THE HIDDEN (1987)

BRAIN DAMAGE (1988)
